Cabinet Pulls and More

()
Remodeling and Home Design
Have you ever wanted to perk up your kitchen (or other room in your home) by replacing the hardware? So you went to the usual stores and found mass produced, generic looking items. Most of it probably made who knows where.
Terracotta Sunset - goes well with lighter woods

The pieces on this site are my own work, using materials that come from within the United States. It`s an alternative to the ordinary. Beautifully handcrafted cabinet pulls made from original clay colors that have been textured, then gilded with metal oxides. Exchanging those generic pulls with these richly textured pieces, is an easy way to add a lovely finishing touch to any remodeling project - or simply to dress up a finished one. Below are some samples of what is available. More images will be added as creations evolve. Feel free to post questions or to request more information.   See many more artisan designed and hand made home decor accent pieces at http://geometals.blogspot.com

Here is a group shot of many of the cabinet knobs made in different colors and oxides. The grey or black ones look gorgeous with dark granite counter tops. The brown based pieces show off natural wood cabinets and drawers. To see them better, click on the image to enlarge it.

Individual designs that can be made in any of the above colors:

"Curly Swirls" in black (slabbed clay) with silver oxide, walnut with copper/bronze oxides, and indigo with teal and turquoise.

"Sunflowers" almost everybody loves these. They are about 1 & 1/2" in diameter, give or take a smidge. Visualize them in your guest (or main) bathroom or on a piece of furniture.

"Scenic" in walnut with copper/bronze. What a difference these textured pieces would make on any kind of natural wood cabinets! I have them in my own kitchen and I just love these.

"Multi Swirls" (also done in the walnut with copper/bronze). Looking to rev up the texture on closet doors, cabinet drawers, a night stand, or cabinets? This will definitely add that special touch.

"Mandala Filigree" a classic look, for those who prefer a more traditional style but still want or need texture in order to complete a project or update their cabinets and/or drawers. Don`t forget to view the textured switch plates that can be coordinated with these cabinet pulls or simply stand alone.

  1. Many customers have ordered the sunflower pulls for their bathrooms, especially the blue/teal ones. For kitchens, the "Curly Swirls" in the bronze/copper has been the most frequently ordered.

  2. Some customers have been coordinating the pulls with the texture(s) in the switch plates for the kitchen and bathroom. I`ve been adding new textures to the main site at http://geometals.blogspot.com
